A Word

Genesis 28:10-22
There are many aspects to this passage of Scripture, but I just want to look at a few of them.

Now Jacob on his passage from Beersheba to Haran encounters a certain place we come to know as Luz which simply means [3870] Luwz (looz) almond tree. And he decides that because night time had come, to take a stone from this place called Luz and use to it as a pillow to rest. Now you can imagine what his hysical well-being must have been like: he had been on a long day’s journey about forty miles I’m told (from Beersheba to Bethel (Luz)) and he is using a stone as a pillow.

Apostolic Teams - a Group of People Who Carry the Family Mission

For centuries the people of God have gathered together around specific truths. Denominations and organizations have been formed to unite these groups of Believers. Having common belief systems (see footnote 1 at bottom) has helped to build unity within particular groups and define their purpose. Historically these groups were formed from people who were usually newly saved, or were asked to leave whatever denomination they were previously a part of.

FAMILY AND THE HOME

Introduction
A family is a union that is connected together in one spirit, bond by tolerance, riches, poverty, sickness, health, faith, sorrow and death. Because these are the components lives consist off.
A family must be founded on the principle it was supposed to be from creation. Family hood is a very sacred union before the lord which he holds in high esteem amongst his creation.

How to write a business plan

Thinking about starting a business? Great. Have you got a Plan? That's Plan with a capital "P" for Business Plan. If you haven't written your plan yet, your business is still in the fantasy stages.
That isn't harsh; it's how it is in the real world. A company's business plan is what lenders such as banks and the U.S. Small Business Administration use in deciding to lend you money. It's the main company document that your employees -- and you -- use to gauge your company's success and to make decisions about what you should do first, second, or not at all.
If you're starting a home-based business on a shoestring, some of these suggestions probably aren't necessary, but you still should create a plan that outlines your goals, expected costs, marketing plan and exit strategy. A business plan is your road map for how you expect to succeed and how you'll measure success.
Here is a quick nine-step guide to what you will need in your company's business plan:

Jewish group wants Mormons to stop proxy baptisms

NEW YORK – Holocaust survivors said Monday they are through trying to negotiate with the Mormon church over posthumous baptisms of Jews killed in Nazi concentration camps, saying the church has repeatedly violated a 13-year-old agreement barring the practice.
Leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints say they are making changes to their massive genealogical database that will make it more difficult for names of Holocaust victims to be entered for posthumous baptism by proxy, a rite that has been a common Mormon practice for more than a century.

Obama election shows deep racial divide in church

NEW YORK – The barrier-crossing election of Barack Obama did little to bridge the deep racial divide in American churches. In fact, some clergy say it has only served to underscore their differences.
While nonwhite Christians voted overwhelmingly for Obama, most white Christians backed John McCain, according to exit polls. Several black clergy said that criticism of Obama by some white Christians over his religious beliefs and support for abortion rights crossed the line, hurting longtime efforts to reconcile their communities.

Overcoming Challenges

And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel that they turn and encamp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea: before Baal-Zephon, opposite to it, shall ye encamp by the sea. And Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land; the wilderness has hemmed them in.
And I will harden Pharaoh's heart that he may pursue after them; and I will glorify myself in Pharaoh, and in all his host; and the Egyptians shall know that I am Jehovah. And they did so. And it was told the king of Egypt that the people had fled; and the heart of Pharaoh and of his bondmen was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from our service? And he yoked his chariot, and took his people with him. And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them. And Jehovah hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel; and the children of Israel had gone out with a high hand.

Passion

PASSION
What’s your passion? What do you have passion for? What are those things you do that brings you great joy? (Perhaps you need to draw up a list) do you pursue these things with great desire and vigor? How consumed are you with what you love? What do you really love? Are you consumed by desires alone or a love to create using the gift and ability the lord has given you? In every one of us God has deposited a knowledge that’s hidden with in except we dig in and find it.Dont confuse passion with hidden talent.

Point of Note

Point of note.
As you read my article you will realize that I don’t use the word man or woman to illustrate my point quite often, rather I chose the old version of expression in using He, this does not mean a total representation of man alone. Herein, whenever such word is used, it automatically refers to both man and woman. Hence I don’t see any difference between a man and a woman.

Something to Think About

  • Don't go for looks, they can deceive .don't go for wealth; even that fades away. go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.
  • Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want to be; because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you want to do.
  • Always put yourself in other's shoes if you feel that it hurts you, it probably hurt the person too.

South Carolina diocese stands firm on priest’s warning letter

A South Carolina priest who sent a letter warning parishioners who voted for Barack Obama that they may have placed themselves outside of the communion of the Catholic Church has received the backing of his diocese.  The Diocese of Charleston agrees with Fr. Starting your own business

5 financial decisions before starting a business
However, that's not as counter-intuitive as it may at first seem. Getting laid off -- or just the possibility of losing a job -- often causes people to focus on how they might create their own enterprise. So, I find myself talking a lot about the financial decisions people must make before starting their own businesses. Here are five of the biggest:
